The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering expert services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it can be alarmed in regards to the higher amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your high amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The service level made for intervention experiences a large inflow of sassa status opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it challenging for that Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra sources to help the servicing of all shoppers and maximize access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
